Required Qualifications Expert knowledge of relevant executive orders, regulations, policies and standards related to SecEA authorities and responsibilities and national security personnel vetting programs. Expert management skills, including a superior ability to oversee multiple teams as they implement programs, develop policies, and report on activities to Congress and oversight bodies. Superior ability to work and partner with the Executive Branch and the IC to consistently and effectively implement TW 2.0 reform efforts and address issues that span the personnel security vetting mission. Expert ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, complex information in a clear, concise manner that is targeted to and meets the needs of diverse audiences with different perspectives and objectives. Expert ability to direct taskings, assess and manage performance, collaborate on goal setting, and support personal professional development of all levels of personnel. At least 5 years of experience leading strategic planning, managing, and directing the successful efforts of a government or private organization/industry. Superior collaboration skills, including the ability to effectively build coalitions among government elements to achieve common goals. Knowledge of security clearance reform initiatives and challenges. Desired Qualifications Familiarity with the Trusted Workforce 2.0 reform initiative. Lead proactive counterintelligence and security activities across the United States government, integrating the instruments of national power to detect, report, deter, disrupt, investigate, exploit, and defeat foreign intelligence threats.
