About This Role

To qualify for this position, you must meet one of the following Basic Requirements: Applicants must possess one year of Specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 in the federal service. Specialized experience is defined as: Working collaboratively with investigators and representatives of Federal, state, Tribal, local law-enforcement, and regulatory organizations to provide authoritative guidance, coordinate actions, and resolve operational problems; serve as on-scene team member for transportation accidents providing evidence related operations; and drafts briefings and presentations conveying investigative operational related information or diverse audiences. The incumbent will serve as a Support Operations Coordinator located in the Office of the Managing Director, Special Operations, National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) and coordinates the investigative work of the agency with local, state, and Federal law enforcement, public safety, emergency management, and similar agencies. Provide day-to-day operational mission support that enables investigative readiness, continuity of operations,, and effective accident and incident response.
