Specialized Experience, GS-15: You must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and responsibility to the GS-14 level in the Federal service that included performing at least 4 of the following: Applying analytical/evaluative methods to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of policies; Developing/implementing immediate and long-range planning in response to new or changing policy or legislative requirements; Setting annual and long-range work plans and schedules to accomplish strategic objectives; Serving as a project leader responsible for conducting broad nationwide studies/evaluations; Recommending solutions to sensitive, controversial, and critical issues affecting national program. Time-in-Grade Requirements: Under competitive merit promotion procedures, any individual who is currently holding, or who has held within the previous 52 weeks, a General Schedule position under a non-temporary appointment in the competitive or excepted service, must meet "time-in-grade" requirements (have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade of the grade for which you are applying). Salary: The salary range indicated in this announcement reflects the lowest and highest potential salaries for this position.
