In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) Analysis and Production Cyberspace Operations Teaching Others To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one (1) year of experience equivalent to at least the GS/GG-12 grade level in the Federal service which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: Directing, planning, managing, or executing Signals Intelligence (SIGINT)/Cyber training for unit personnel in accordance and coordination with applicable training requirements, standards, and policies; preparing training material, equipment, facilities, databases, and instructors/trainers to support the technical and functional training of personnel conducting or supporting the execution of Cyber and SIGINT enabling support to Cyberspace Operations; and, creating and maintaining training plans, records, information papers, briefings, and related documents to support periodic review and assessment of the unit's training. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level in the federal service (GG/GS-12). Progressively responsible experience is that which has included intelligence-related research, analysis, collections and /or operations. This experience should have included intelligence analysis and/or production, intelligence collection and/or operations, counterintelligence, or threat support directly related to the position to be filled. This experience should demonstrate: Knowledge of intelligence processes, cycle and organizations; Knowledge of and/or ability to use research tools such as library holdings, photographs, statistics, graphics and maps; Knowledge of the systems, procedures and methods of analyzing, compiling, reporting and disseminating intelligence data; and/or Knowledge of organization(s) for and methods of collecting and analyzing intelligence data. About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the 780th Military Intelligence Brigade, 782d Military Intelligence Battalion, Battalion Staff, located in Fort Gordon, Georgia.
