About This Role

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: (OPM Operating Manual, Qualification Standards ). Minimum Qualifications for the GS-12 Grade Level: 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: responsible for coordinating the collection, tracking, and processing of relevant data, such as statistical data or FOIA requests, in support of agency goals; interpreting legislation or advising management on guidelines, directives or circulars applicable to data collection, FOIA processing, The Privacy Act, information systems, or performance management; developing strategic goals and measures for the management or evaluation of agency programs; and representing management in public forums related to information collection or performance management. All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement. Merit Promotion candidates must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the announcement closing date. Additional selections may be made from this announcement if identical vacancies occur in the same location within 90 days from the closing date. This position is located with the Bureau of Indian Affairs, District 9-District Office in Albuquerque, New Mexico; Muskogee, Oklahoma; Nashville, Tennessee; Sacramento, California.
