HITS.NRW ist ein neu gegründeter, zentraler IT-Dienstleister für die öffentlichen Hochschulen in Nordrhein-Westfalen.

Unsere Mission: Gemeinsam mit den Hochschulen für angewandte Wissenschaften sowie den staatlichen Kunst- und Musikhochschulen die Hochschul-IT der Zukunft gestalten. Dafür entwickeln wir landesweit skalierbare Services aus den Bereichen Cloud, Cyber Security, Software und IT-Procurement. Wir sorgen für moderne, sichere und effiziente Lösungen – damit Hochschulen sich ganz auf Lehre, Kunst und Wissenschaft konzentrieren können und sensible Daten bestmöglich geschützt sind.

In deiner Rolle wirst Du Teil dieses Umfelds und unterstützt uns dabei, den digitalen Arbeitsplatz unserer Mitarbeitenden zuverlässig und zukunftsorientiert weiterzuentwickeln. Dabei sammelst Du praktische Erfahrung im IT-Support, arbeitest mit modernen Tools und erhältst Einblicke in den Einsatz von Open-Source-Lösungen im öffentlichen Umfeld.

Was dich erwartet

Du unterstützt unser Team im täglichen IT-Betrieb und gestaltest aktiv den digitalen Arbeitsplatz mit:

• Unterstützung der Mitarbeitenden bei Fragen und Problemen rund um Windows 11 Endgeräte
• Mitarbeit beim Rollout und der Konfiguration von Softwarelösungen
• Analyse und Lösung technischer Herausforderungen im Arbeitsumfeld
• Erstellung kurzer, verständlicher Anleitungen zur Nutzung und Einrichtung von Anwendungen
• Unterstützung bei der Pflege von Systemen sowie der Überprüfung von Konfigurationen
• Mitwirkung bei Dokumentationen, Auswertungen und Präsentationen

Was Du mitbringst

• Laufendes Studium, idealerweise mit IT-Bezug oder starkem Interesse an technischen Themen
• Sicherer Umgang mit Windows 11 sowie ein grundlegendes technisches Verständnis
• Interesse an IT-Support und digitalen Arbeitsumgebungen
• Begeisterung für Open-Source-Software und Themen der digitalen Souveränität
• Bereitschaft, Dich in neue Tools und Anwendungen einzuarbeiten
• Erste Erfahrungen mit freier Software (OSS) oder Linux sowie Kenntnisse in Anwendungen wie Nextcloud, Thunderbird, LibreOffice oder Element sind von Vorteil
