Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist

Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. To qualify for this position at the GS-14 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the federal government, a state or local government, or private sector, and must demonstrate the following: Supervising a team of logistics specialists, including setting team priorities, developing work plans, and evaluating progress toward program goals and objectives; AND Developing logistics support plans and policies for large-scale, multi-agency operations, including collaboration with multiple levels of government (e.g. federal, state, local); AND Managing logistics operations in support of disaster or emergency response, including coordination of supply, transportation, storage, distribution, and related logistical functions in a severely constrained environment. They possess excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills, and have demonstrated success collaborating with diverse partners to deliver critical resources efficiently. Experience in emergency management and familiarity with FEMA operations is highly desirable.
