(Senior) Test Automation Engineer, AI-Native (d/m/w) - Remote

Aktuell bauen wir unsere nächste Produktgeneration komplett neu (Laravel/Vue.js) und entwickeln parallel neue AI-Produkte, die die Projektarbeit von Grund auf neu denken. Dafür suchen wir einen Test Automation Engineer, der AI nicht nur kennt, sondern damit lebt. Claude, Cursor und Playwright mit AI-Codegen sind für dich keine Experimente, sondern dein alltägliches Handwerkszeug. Du schreibst Tests in Stunden, wofür andere Tage brauchen. Du verstehst, dass moderne Qualitätssicherung heute aus der Kombination von handwerklicher Test-Exzellenz und AI-Hebel entsteht. Und du weißt: AI-Produkte testet man anders als klassische Software.

Aufgaben

• Aufbau und Betrieb einer modernen, AI-gestützten Teststrategie für unsere nächste Produktgeneration (Laravel/Vue.js)
• End-to-End Testautomatisierung mit Playwright oder ähnlichem, inklusive AI-gestützter Testfallgenerierung und Selbstheilung von Tests
• Qualitätssicherung unserer AI-Produkte: Evaluierung von LLM-Outputs, Prompt-Tests, Halluzinations-Checks und Verhaltenstests für agentische Workflows
• Aufbau einer Testpyramide mit den Entwicklern (Unit, Integration, E2E), enge Integration in CI/CD
• AI-gestützte Bug-Reproduktion und Root-Cause-Analyse, Übersetzung von Kunden-Tickets in reproduzierbare Tests
• Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Entwicklern, Product Managern und dem Co-CEO

Qualifikation

AI-Native Toolset (was du bereits aktiv nutzt):

• Testautomatisierung mit Playwright, Cypress oder vergleichbar, idealerweise mit AI-Codegen
• Daily Driver wie Claude oder ChatGPT für Testfallgenerierung, Edge-Case-Analyse und Test-Code
• Cursor oder ähnliche AI-IDEs, um Vue.js und Laravel-Code schnell zu verstehen und passende Tests zu schreiben
• Idealerweise Erfahrung mit LLM-Evaluation (Promptfoo, Braintrust, LangSmith oder selbstgebaute Eval-Pipelines)
• Verständnis für MCP, Agentic Workflows oder Custom GPTs und wie man diese systematisch testet
• Du verstehst den Unterschied: Du weißt, wann ein AI-generierter Test ausreicht und wann handwerkliches Testdenken mit präzisen Assertions den Unterschied macht
• Erfahrung mit CI/CD (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI), Git und Pull-Request-basiertem Arbeiten
• Ausgeprägtes Verständnis für API-Tests (REST), Datenbanken (MySQL/Postgres) und Web-Architekturen. Mobile Apps (iOS & Android) ist ein Plus.
