Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: (1) Leading a multidisciplinary team responsible for planning, design and construction program management, program analysis, and business reporting; (2) Overseeing the entire lifecycle of complex design and construction programs from initial formulation through completion, while ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations; (3) Serving as a key advisor to senior leadership and consulting with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders on complex program and policy matters; AND (4) Utilizing tools such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) to analyze data and make recommendations on program execution, governance, and Regional Business Decisions. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Leadership Oral Communication Program Management Strategic Thinking Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13). About the Position: Serves as Chief, Programs Support Branch, supervising a multi-disciplinary staff engaged in the life-cycle program and funds management and project Automated Information Systems (AIS) management of Military and Interagency & International Services (IIS) programs under the Europe District's area of responsibility.
