Unser Mandant ist ein mittelständisches, international tätiges Industrieunternehmen mit Sitz im Südharz. Mit rund 110 Mitarbeitenden, internationalen Verbindungen und einer sehr hohen Fertigungstiefe steht das Unternehmen seit Jahrzehnten für Innovation, Qualität und Verlässlichkeit. Das kaufmännische Team ist äußerst stabil und verfügt über eine sehr geringe Fluktuation.

Im Zuge einer Nachfolge wird zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt ein erfahrener Leiter Finanzen (m/w/d) gesucht. Sie übernehmen nicht nur fachliche Verantwortung, vor allem im Rahmen der Abschlusserstellung, sondern sind auch zentrale Ansprechperson für interne wie externe Stakeholder im Finanzbereich.

Aufgaben

• Erstellung von Monats-, Quartals- und Jahresabschlüssen (HGB & IFRS) für das inländische Hauptunternehmen. Darüber hinaus koordinieren Sie den Jahresabschluss einer kleinen ausländischen Gesellschaft und wirken bei der internationalen Konsolidierung mit.
• Implementierung und laufende Durchführung eines Konzernreportings im internationalen Umfeld
• Fachliche und disziplinarische Führung eines erfahrenen zweiköpfigen Teams, bestehend aus Buchhaltung und Controlling. Dazu ist regelmäßig auch noch ein Auszubildender (m/w/d) in der Abteilung tätig.
• Kommentierung der Abschlüsse sowie enge Abstimmung mit der Geschäftsführung
• Planung und Steuerung der Liquidität
• Analyse von Kostenentwicklungen, Budgetplanungen, Erstellung von Auswertungen und Kennzahlenreports
• Beratung der Geschäftsführung und Mitwirkung an der Vorbereitung strategischer Entscheidungen
• Vorbereitung und ggf. Teilnahme an Bankgesprächen
• Enge Zusammenarbeit mit der IT zur Verbesserung der Prozesse und Systeme
• Option auf Prokura
• Sie berichten in dieser Funktion direkt an die Geschäftsführung des Unternehmens

Qualifikation

• Abgeschlossenes betriebswirtschaftliches Studium oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation (z. B. Bilanzbuchhalter, Steuerfachwirt (m/w/d) o.ä.).
• Fundierte Erfahrung in der Erstellung handelsrechtlicher Abschlüsse, gerne mit Hintergrund in der Wirtschaftsprüfung oder Steuerberatung. Aber auch ein Hintergrund aus dem industriellen Umfeld ist denkbar.
• Erste oder bereits mehrjährige Führungserfahrung sowie Freude an der Arbeit mit einem eigenständigen Team
• Strukturierte, verlässliche und unternehmerisch denkende Persönlichkeit
• Kommunikationsstärke sowie souveräner Umgang mit internen und externen Ansprechpartnern
• Fließende Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
• Idealerweise Erfahrung in internationaler Zusammenarbeit
