For the GS-13 level: Applicants must have one year of specialized experience (equivalent to the GS- 12 level) that demonstrates their ability to plan, contribute, and coordinate IT Enterprise Architecture (EA). Qualifying experience must include: Serving as an Enterprise Architect in an information technology (IT) office. Demonstrating experience in Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) technology. Modeling techniques to document architecture. Developing and maintaining technical roadmaps, reference architecture models and ensuring compliance with these artifacts. Evaluation of new technologies for business value and designing architectures to accommodate them. This position has an individual occupational requirement that must be met in order to qualify for the position: Experience: Experience must be IT related; the experience may be demonstrated by paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training (for example, IT certification), as appropriate. Individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. The employing agency is responsible for identifying the specific level of proficiency required for each competency at each grade level based on the requirements of the position being filled. AND Specialized Experience: This position requires one year of specialized experience at the next lower GS-grade (or equivalent). Specialized experience is experience that has equipped the applicant with the particular competencies/knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position and is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled.
