About This Role

Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of a(n) General Maintenance & Operations Supervisor ~ without more than normal supervision. Perform common General Maintenance and Operations Supervisor tasks with an array of trades and craft, which includes the maintenance and repair of facilities and utilities; manage facilitate work operations utilizing administrative authority; planning work based on trade experience; determining equipment, supplies, and maintenance required by work leaders, and journeyman level workers. - Failure to meet this Screen out Element will result in an ineligible rating. This position is established to serve as a supervisor. These type duties will be covered by the WG-4700 work family for General Maintenance and Operations. These shops will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and construction of buildings, roads, grounds, and related facilities such as heating and air-conditioning. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD/DoW Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serves as the technical and administrative supervisor over the Operations and Maintenance, Interior Shop, exercising full supervisory responsibility over carpentry, sheet metal, wielding, sign fabrication/installation, asbestos and mold removal work operations.
