Das ELDP (Engineering Leadership Development Program) ist ein anspruchsvolles zweijähriges Rotationsprogramm, das sich an Nachwuchstalente richtet, die sich für angewandte Wissenschaft, Sensortechnologien, analytische Chemie und technische Exzellenz begeistern. Dich erwarten praxisnahe Laborarbeit, angewandte Sensorentwicklung, spannende Projektaufgaben sowie Trainings in technischen und persönlichen Kompetenzen. Wenn du wissenschaftliche Erkenntnisse in konkrete Lösungen überführen möchtest und eine Karriere in Forschung & Entwicklung anstrebst, ist das ELDP dein idealer Einstieg bei Xylem.

Du sammelst Erfahrungen in verschiedenen technischen und interdisziplinären Bereichen – mit Fokus auf Sensorentwicklung, analytische Chemie, Elektrochemie, Wasseranalytik und Materialwissenschaften. Je nach Einsatz arbeitest du im Labor, entwickelst Methoden, bewertest Prototypen, analysierst Daten und arbeitest eng mit Teams aus Engineering, Produktion, Qualität und Produktmanagement zusammen. Nach deinem Abschluss bist du bestens vorbereitet für eine verantwortungsvolle Rolle in der F&E – insbesondere in der Sensorentwicklung oder im Engineering.

Aufgaben

• Planung und Durchführung der zugewiesenen Aufgaben und Projekte im Rahmen der Programmrotation
• Durchführung von praktischen Laborarbeiten in den Bereichen Sensorentwicklung, analytische Chemie, Elektrochemie oder verwandten Disziplinen
• Experimente unter Anwendung eines strukturierten wissenschaftlichen Ansatzes planen, durchführen, dokumentieren und auswerten
• Experimentdaten analysieren, Trends erkennen, Ergebnisse interpretieren und technisch fundierte Schlussfolgerungen ableiten
• Unterstützung der Entwicklung, Charakterisierung und Optimierung von Sensorkonzepten, Analysemethoden, Materialien oder Messprinzipien
• Einbringen neuer analytische Ansätze, Methoden oder technische Verbesserungen in Ihrem Verantwortungsbereich
• Absolvieren aller erforderlichen Programmschulungen
• Aktive Teilnahme an den Community-Aktivitäten von Xylem Watermark

Qualifikation

• Abgeschlossenes Masterstudium oder Doktorgrad in Chemie, Analytischer Chemie, Elektrochemie, Materialwissenschaften, Polymerchemie, Chemieingenieurwesen oder einem verwandten wissenschaftlichen oder technischen Fachgebiet
• Leidenschaft für Technik, starkes Engagement für eine technologieorientierte Karriere in der Forschung und Entwicklung sowie Fähigkeit, Teams zu leiten und in ihnen zu arbeiten
• Sicherer Umgang mit MS-Office-Anwendungen; erste Praktika, Co-op oder Forschungserfahrung im Bereich F&E von Vorteil
• Ausgezeichnete zwischenmenschliche und kommunikative Fähigkeiten
• Analytische, lösungsorientierte und strukturierte Arbeitsweise
• Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
