About This Role
Specialized Experience (Credit for Specialized Experience on resume must reflect 40 hours/Full-time per week for each period of work): GS-11: You must have one (1) year of specialized experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-09 level in the Federal Government. Specialized experience includes: Experience marketing and promoting services, manufactured capital goods, and consumer products in domestic and international markets, including advising clients on market entry strategies and aligning offerings with customer needs. Experience applying international financial and banking principles to support transactions, evaluate financing options, and coordinate with financial institutions and stakeholders. Experience utilizing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems to manage client interactions, track business development activities, and inform strategic decision-making. OR Substitution of Education for Experience: You may substitute education for the specialized experience at the GS-09 grade level by possessing a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree OR three full years of progressively higher-level graduate education. Related degrees may include degrees in the field of Bususiness Development e.g., Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, International Business or Business Management. OR Combination of Experience and Education. GS-12: You must have one (1) year of specialized experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-11 level in the Federal Government. Specialized experience includes: Experience marketing and promoting services, manufactured capital goods, and consumer products in domestic and international markets, including advising clients on market entry strategies and aligning offerings with customer needs. Experience applying international financial and banking principles to support transactions, evaluate financing options, and coordinate with financial institutions and stakeholders. Experience analyzing and applying international risk mitigation techniques, including credit and political risk assessment, to structure and safeguard transactions. Experience utilizing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems to manage client interactions, track business development activities, and inform strategic decision-making. Education cannot be substituted for experience at the GS-12 grade level.
