About This Role

To qualify at the GS-15, you must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to at least the GS-14 level in federal service which must include: Leading or providing oversight to a multi-disciplinary team responsible for technical performance of budget program formulation, execution, and budget activities. Experience analyzing impacts of new or revised legislation and the potential effects of budgetary actions on program, viability, and in meeting program objectives. Experience developing and rendering authoritative interpretation of executive order, Office of Management and Budget (OMB) guidelines, policies, and directives, and presenting interpretations with and across agency lines. Experience facilitating resolution among conflicting interests and/or stakeholders. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Supervisory Competencies: Applicants should possess proficiency or the potential to develop proficiency in the following competencies for successful performance of Federal supervisory work: accountability, customer service, decisiveness, flexibility, integrity/honesty, interpersonal skills, oral communication, problem solving, resilience, and written communication.
