About This Role

Minimum Qualifications: A doctoral degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an American Psychological Association-accredited psychology program from an accredited college or university, three (3) years of post-internship experience in a role that requires the application of established scientific methods and principles of professional psychology, and two (2) years of supervisor experience. Satisfactory completion of all the requirements for the doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) directly related to full professional work in clinical psychology is required. Graduation from the DC Court's Management Training Program may be substituted for one (1) year of supervisory experience. You must provide documentation of your management training (i.e., a copy of the certificate) with your application. Must possess or be able to obtain within 180 calendar days of appointment, a valid license to practice psychology in the District of Columbia Courts. The incumbent is solely responsible for covering the cost associated with licensure and the requirements to maintain and ensure it is active and up to date. The incumbent should be an enthusiastic and engaged professional who enjoys working with a diverse group of Court personnel and customers and lives the DC Courts' values of Accountability, Excellence, Fairness, Integrity, Respect, and Transparency. Please note that authorization for the release of your adult criminal record, revealing any convictions and forfeitures, and any criminal cases currently pending before the courts, is required. If you are selected for the position, a criminal history records check will be conducted. This position is located in the Child Guidance Clinic (CGC) of the Court Social Services Division (CSSD). CSSD is responsible for overseeing all youth involved in the District of Columbia's juvenile justice system who are not committed to the Department of Youth Rehabilitation Services. The Training and Accreditation Program Manager will provide oversight, planning, and coordination of all training activities that take place within the Child Guidance Clinic.
