Basic Education Requirement for Each Series: Supervisory Community Planner - GS-0020 Supervisory Social Scientist - GS-0101 Supervisory Economist - GS-0110 Supervisory Geographer - GS-0150 Supervisory General Biologist - GS-0401 Supervisory Landscape Architect - GS-0807 Supervisory Architect - GS-0808 Supervisory Engineer - All Engineers - GS-0810, GS-0830, GS-0850 Supervisory Physical Scientist - GS-1301 Supervisory Geologist - GS-1350 In addition to meeting the basic requirement above for your chosen occupational series, you must also meet the specialized experience requirement listed below to qualify for this position: Specialized Experience required for qualification at the GS-14 level: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Executing complex civil works projects; AND 2) Organizing and prioritizing team workload to accomplish program objectives, delegated assignments based on project; AND 3) Monitoring, evaluating, identifying risks, and recommending corrective action on programs and projects. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Leadership Manages and Organizes Information Organizational Performance Analysis Project Management Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13). About the Position: As the Chief of Regional Projects Branch, oversees a team of up to 20 professionals, providing leadership, technical supervision, and direction for complex Civil Works projects such as flood control, drainage, and infrastructure improvements. Manage project delivery, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, making policy and technical decisions, and ensuring program effectiveness while representing the branch in high-level briefings and meetings.
