(Senior) Firewall Specialist (m/w/d)

Gemeinsam mit unserem Partner, einem international tätigen Industrieunternehmen, suchen wir im Zuge des weiteren Ausbaus des IT-Security-Teams einen Firewall Specialist (m/w/d) für verschiedene Standorte in Deutschland oder komplett remote aus dem Homeoffice.

In dieser Rolle übernimmst du eine zentrale Funktion bei der Sicherstellung und Weiterentwicklung einer modernen Netzwerk- und Sicherheitsinfrastruktur. Dabei arbeitest du in einem technologisch anspruchsvollen Umfeld mit Fokus auf Palo Alto Firewalls, Netzwerk-Security und konzernweite Sicherheitsstandards.

Aufgaben

• Du gestaltest den sicheren Betrieb und die Weiterentwicklung der konzernweiten Netzwerk- und Firewall-Infrastruktur im Palo-Alto-Umfeld
• Du betreust geschäftskritische IT- und OT-Umgebungen und wirkst aktiv an der Weiterentwicklung der Sicherheitsarchitektur mit
• Du setzt spannende Projekte rund um die Harmonisierung und Automatisierung der gruppenweiten Firewall-Architektur und Netzwerk-Security um
• Du analysierst und bearbeitest Security Incidents, Service Requests und Kundenanforderungen im Bereich Netzwerk- und Firewall-Infrastruktur
• Du übernimmst Verantwortung für Patchmanagement, Lifecycle-Management und die kontinuierliche Optimierung der bestehenden Security-Infrastruktur
• Du arbeitest eng mit internen Fachbereichen zusammen und unterstützt das Team im operativen Betrieb

Qualifikation

• Du hast eine abgeschlossene Ausbildung/ein Studium im IT-Bereich oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation; alternativ langjährige relevante Berufserfahrung
• Du bringst mindestens zwei Jahre Erfahrung im Bereich Firewall, Netzwerk und Netzwerk-Security mit
• Du hast fundierte Praxiserfahrung in der Betruung von Firewalls, idealerweise in Palo Alto inkl. Prisma Access sowie weiteren Palo Alto-Produkten
• Du verfügst idealerweise über gute Kenntnisse in Windows- und Linux-Betriebssystemen sowie im Betrieb komplexer IT-Infrastrukturen
• Du analytisch, strukturiert und eigenverantwortlich und gehst auch mit anspruchsvollen oder zeitkritischen Situationen souverän um
• Du kommunizierst sicher auf Deutsch und Englisch
