About This Role

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field appropriate to the work of the position (Master's degree preferred) AND 6 years of experience performing data architecture, data engineering, enterprise data integration, or related technical leadership functions for a large, complex, or regulated organization OR an appropriate combination of education and experience demonstrating possession of knowledge and skill equivalent to that gained in the above, OR appropriate experience that demonstrates the applicant has acquired the knowledge, skills, and abilities equivalent to those gained in the above. Experience must include senior level expertise with ODI in large enterprise or government environments, as well as hands-on experience designing and implementing ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS Glue and leading data migrations to AWS for government or for other highly regulated environments. Applicants must possess advanced SQL, database normalization, and data modeling skills; a strong understanding of ETL versus ELT architectural patterns; and experience with major enterprise cloud services including AWS (S3, RDS, Redshift, IAM, CloudWatch), Snowflake, and MicroStrategy. Required competencies also include data validation, reconciliation, operational monitoring, change control, configuration management, and technical documentation standards. Applicants must possess or be able to obtain an advanced cloud architecture certification (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect). Highly preferred certifications include TOGAF Enterprise Architecture Certification, AWS Certified Data Engineer -Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, Snowflake SnowPro Core Certification, and MicroStrategy Certified Architect. As an authorized and privileged user of Department of Defense Information Systems, the applicant must possess or obtain required Information Assurance awareness by completing the DoD8570/DoD8140 requirements (i.e. Security+ Certification) as a condition of access within six months of employment and thereafter in accordance with DoD requirements.
