Senior Data Analyst - Defense Metaverse and Sensor Analytics (m/w/d)

Mit unserem Defense Metaverse schaffen wir synthetische Einsatzumgebungen, in denen taktisches Verhalten, Sensorik, Effektoren, KI-Agenten und militärische Entscheidungsprozesse getestet, bewertet und weiterentwickelt werden.

Zur Verstärkung unseres Teams suchen wir eine/n Senior Data Analyst, der/die die Auswertung unserer Simulations-, Versuchs- und Sensordaten auf ein professionelles Niveau hebt – mit technischem Tiefgang, analytischer Präzision und einem klaren Interesse an sicherheits- und verteidigungsrelevanten Fragestellungen.

Diese Position ist keine klassische Reporting- oder BI-Rolle. Du arbeitest mit Daten aus taktischen Simulationen, KI-Agenten, Sensorik, Versuchsumgebungen und physischen Demonstratoren. Ziel ist es, aus komplexen Szenarien belastbare Erkenntnisse abzuleiten: Was ist im Szenario passiert? Und wie machen wir diese Erkenntnisse für Entwicklung und Nutzer nachvollziehbar?

Wir suchen ausdrücklich eine erfahrene Person, die selbstständig Analyseansätze entwickeln, Datenquellen strukturieren, geeignete Metriken definieren und Ergebnisse überzeugend erklären kann.

Aufgaben

• Du entwickelst anspruchsvolle Auswertungen für Daten aus unserem Defense Metaverse, insbesondere aus taktischen Simulationen, Agentenverhalten, Lagebildern, Tracks, Ereignisverläufen und Entscheidungsprozessen.
• Du unterstützt die Analyse realer Daten aus physischen Sensoren, Tests, Demonstratoren und Feldversuchen und hilfst dabei, reale Messdaten mit synthetischen Simulationsdaten vergleichbar zu machen.
• Du baust Analysepipelines, Dashboards und Reports auf, mit denen taktische Leistungsfähigkeit, KI-Verhalten, Systemreaktionen, Erkennungsqualität, Trackqualität, Zeitverläufe, Sensorabdeckung und Entscheidungslogiken sichtbar und bewertbar werden.
• Du entwickelst Kennzahlen und Auswertelogiken für verteidigungsrelevante Fragestellungen, etwa Reaktionszeiten, Erfolgswahrscheinlichkeiten, Robustheit, Lagebildqualität, Kollisionsrisiken, Aufklärungsleistung, Bedrohungsbewertung oder Effektivität von Schutz- und Abwehrmaßnahmen.
• Du arbeitest eng mit Softwareentwicklung, KI-Entwicklung, Simulation Engineering, militärischen Fachexperten und Projektleitung zusammen.
• Du bereitest Ergebnisse so auf, dass sie sowohl für technische Teams als auch für militärische und industrielle Stakeholder verständlich, belastbar und entscheidungsrelevant sind.

Qualifikation

• Du hast mindestens 10 Jahre einschlägige Berufserfahrung in Data Analytics, Data Science, technischer Datenanalyse, Sensor Data Analytics, Simulation Analytics oder einem vergleichbaren technischen Analyseumfeld.
• Du bist sicher im Umgang mit Python, SQL, Pandas, Jupyter oder vergleichbaren Analysewerkzeugen und kannst auch größere, heterogene Datensätze eigenständig strukturieren, bereinigen und auswerten.
• Du hast Erfahrung mit komplexen technischen Daten – etwa Zeitreihen, Sensordaten, Tracking-Daten, Geodaten, Telemetrie, Simulationsdaten, Logdaten oder Ereignisdaten.
• Du bist in der Lage, aus einer fachlichen Fragestellung selbstständig ein Analysekonzept, geeignete Metriken, eine belastbare Auswertung und eine verständliche Ergebnisdarstellung abzuleiten.
• Du bringst ein ernsthaftes Interesse an Verteidigung, Streitkräften, Sicherheitsarchitekturen oder militärischer Technologie mit. Diese Rolle setzt voraus, dass du im Umfeld der Bundeswehr, verbündeter Streitkräfte und sicherheitsrelevanter Anwendungen arbeiten möchtest.
• Du verfügst über sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse und gute Englischkenntnisse.
• Du besitzt eine gültige Arbeitserlaubnis für Deutschland und bist bereit, in Deutschland zu arbeiten.
• Du bringst die persönliche Eignung für eine Sicherheitsüberprüfung mit.
