Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. GS-09 Specialized Experience: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service which includes experience assisting senior employees in the areas of real property accountability and real estate management; assisting with preparing and updating real property inventory. OR Education: I have successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position, such as Business Administration. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.) OR Combination of Education and Experience: I have the specialized experience as described in A, but less than one year; and I have at least one year of graduate education as described in B, but less than the required two years. I have computed the percentage of the requirements that I meet, and the total is at least 100% (To compute the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12. Then, divide your semester hours of graduate education beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages. GS-11 Specialized experience: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service which includes experience in the areas of real property accountability and real estate management; preparing and updating real property inventory; researching and updating information on building data including square footage, building number, category codes; utilizing automated systems such as General Fund Enterprise Business Systems (GFEBS)/Real Property Planning and Analysis System (RPLANS) to produce reports. OR I have successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position, such as Business Administration. OR I have the specialized experience as described in A, but less than one year; and I have at least two years of graduate education as described in B, but less than the required three years. GS-12 Specialized experience: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which includes experience in the areas of real property accountability and real estate management; preparing and updating real property inventory; researching and updating information on building data including square footage, building number, category codes; utilizing automated systems such as General Fund Enterprise Business Systems (GFEBS)/Real Property Planning and Analysis System (RPLANS) to produce reports; assisting with yearly physical inspections to comply with audit; assisting with audit samples on real property assets; assisting with the development, execution, and management privatization of assets; preparing leases, licenses, and easement requests. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11). About the Position: Serves as a Real Property Analyst. Incumbent participates in all aspects of real property lifecycle as it relates to acquisition, utilization, transfer, disposal, and management. Responsible for Management and execution of accountability, management, and inspections of Real Property.
