About This Role

GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following: (1) Applying in-depth working knowledge of Federal Employee Compensation Act (FECA) program laws, rules, regulations, and procedures to serve as subject matter expert and technical consultant to assess program strengths and weaknesses, and develop innovative methods to improve overall performance of program requirements; (2) Utilizing comprehensive working knowledge of a complex body of regulations, policies, and procedures governing the drug testing program; (3) Collecting drug test samples in accordance with strict procedural requirements and explaining those policies and procedures to unit coordinators; (4) Preparing reports of drug testing activity; and (5) Providing information regarding the drug testing/worker's compensation program to supervisors and employees and answers questions and resolves problems that arise. GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following: (1) Ensuring compliance with procedures for operations and program maintenance of the Federal Employee Compensation (FECA) program, to include compensation for on-the-job injuries and occupational disease; Continuation of Pay (COP); wage loss compensation; and scheduled awards; (2) Overseeing program operations and ensuring collection site coordinators are in compliance with Drug Free Workplace Program policies and procedures; (3) Identifying positions covered by the Drug Testing Program and ensuring completion of random testing from pool of employees in testing designated positions (TDPs) and volunteers per random selection procedures per agency regulations; and (4) Providing information regarding the drug testing/worker's compensation program to supervisors and employees and answers questions and resolves problems that arise.
