About This Role

GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Researching, interpreting, and applying human resources laws, regulations, policies and procedures for civilian personnel; 2)Providing advisory services on a variety of civilian human resources matters; 3) Utilizing office automation software and peripherals along with automated human resources systems to retrieve, interpret, and display data (i.e. DCPDS, TWMS, etc.); and 4) Performing classification work such as conducting position audits, analyzing organizational structures, applying OPM classification standards, and preparing factor evaluation reports. GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1)Interpreting and applying Federal HR laws, regulations, and policies to resolve complex or precedent-setting issues; 2) Providing authoritative human resources advisory and operational support across multiple HR functional areas; 3) Independently managing complex recruitment and staffing actions, including advising senior leaders on hiring authorities, merit system principles, qualification determinations and selection procedures; and 4) Performing position classification and position management work including providing consultative HR guidance to managers, employees, and leadership.
