About This Role

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Interpreting housing regulations, policies, requirements and procedures to oversee property management of housing facilities and infrastructure (e.g. occupancy, planning, budgeting, scheduling, and managing resources); 2) Providing technical guidance and support for the development and execution of a variety of contracts for the maintenance, repair, improvement and operation of all housing related facilities; 3) Developing housing management plans and procedures; and 4) Applying budget/funds management principles, practices and regulations in all aspects of family housing programs. PPP applicants will be placed at the FPL, if determined Well Qualified (WQ). To receive priority consideration, the FPL must be the same grade level or equivalent of the retained grade or the grade held immediately prior to separation. You will serve as a Housing Manager in the Housing Department of NAVAL STATION ROTA . The incumbent directs and coordinates the acquisition, management, maintenance and operation of all Navy Family Housing and related facilities on the property account of NAVSTA Rota.
