HOW TO QUALIFY: Eligible applicants must meet the following qualification requirements. Applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience gained in a federal position at or above a GS-13 level, or equivalent, which is in or related to the work of the position to be filled. As a senior analyst, the incumbent must possess substantive knowledge and experience on disclosure and privacy policy issues. Such experience should include ALL of the following: (1) Analyzing and applying disclosure and privacy-related laws and requirements (e.g., Privacy Act, OMB, FISMA, or NIST) to evaluate the potential effects of such laws/requirements on business operations; AND (2) Providing policy analysis to agency programs and identifying regulatory or policy limitations pursuant to the Privacy Act, E-Government Act, FISMA, OMB and/or NIST mandates/directives; AND (3) Providing advice on disclosure and privacy policy/compliance issues to internal and external stakeholders. A candidate without senior performance in this skill will not be able to effectively serve as a senior analyst. Sufficient training and mentoring cannot be provided within a timely manner. NOTE: Your resume must specifically address the required experience, supported by detailed documentation of duties performed in positions held including their grade level, and full start and stop dates (day, month, and year). Qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement. Serves as a senior policy expert for privacy, confidentiality and disclosure policy issues, including electronic privacy issues, such as electronic access rights. Ensures that strategic disclosure policy issues are integrated into SSA operations and business processes.
