About This Role

All qualifications must be met by the closing date of this announcement-05/05/2026-unless otherwise stated in this vacancy announcement. Credit will be given for all appropriate qualifying experience. To receive credit for experience, your resume MUST clearly indicate the nature of the duties and responsibilities for each position, starting and ending dates of employment (month/year), and the resume must reflect full and/or part-time or total number of hours worked (i.e., work 40+ hours a week, rather than indicating full-time). If part-time, the hours must be annotated to be able to pro-rate the amount qualified specialized experience. To qualify for this position at the GS-03 grade level, you must possess all of the following minimum qualifications by close of the announcement: EXPERIENCE: Must possess at least six (6) months of progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work which indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the positions to be filled. You must include hours per week worked. -OR- EDUCATION: Successful completion of at least one year above high school. You must include transcripts. -OR- COMBINATION: Successful completion of a combination of education and experience as described above. To combine education and experience, first take the required education completed percentage. Then take the number of months of full-time experience and divide by 12 months. Add the percentages together. The total must equal at least 100 percent to qualify. You must include transcripts. You will not receive any credit for experience that does not indicate exact hours per week or is listed as "varies". Experience listed as full-time will be credited at 40 hours per week. Volunteer Experience: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. This position is being filled under the Field Unit Local Hiring Authority. Eligibility is limited to applicants who reside within the defined local commuting area at the time of application. For this announcement, the local commuting area is the area from which individuals can reasonably commute to the duty station under normal conditions. The defined vicinity for this position is: 75 miles within Vienna, Virginia. Residency will be verified during the hiring process. Applicants must provide proof of residency within the defined vicinity (e.g. mortgage or property deed, lease/rental agreement, utility bill, insurance policy, etc.). Located in the House of Management Division. Responsible for contact with audience managing sections of front house operations. The incumbent also plans, schedules, and assigns work providing technical and policy direction. Open to the first 150 applicants or until 05/05/2026 whichever comes first.
