Finance Manager / Kaufmännische Leitung (m/w/d)

Unser Mandant ist ein wachsendes, projektorientiertes Unternehmen in Magdeburg mit spannendem Gesellschafterhintergrund. In seiner Funktion übernimmt es eine zentrale Rolle bei der Planung, Steuerung und Umsetzung komplexer und anspruchsvoller Hochbauprojekte.

Die Organisation hat sich in den vergangenen Jahren sehr dynamisch entwickelt und umfasst heute ca. 40 Mitarbeitende. Mit zunehmender Projektgröße und -komplexität steigen auch die Anforderungen an die kaufmännische Steuerung und Transparenz.

Im Zuge einer Nachbesetzung wird die kaufmännische Funktion nun bewusst weiterentwickelt – weg von einer eher operativ geprägte Buchhaltungsrolle hin zu einer gestaltenden, steuernden Finance-Funktion mit Verantwortung für das „große Ganze“.

Aufgaben

In dieser Schlüsselposition übernehmen Sie die Gesamtverantwortung für alle kaufmännischen Fragestellungen der Gesellschaft und entwickeln die bestehende Struktur konsequent weiter.

Dabei agieren Sie als Sparringspartner für die Geschäftsführung und bringen betriebswirtschaftliche Perspektiven aktiv in die Unternehmenssteuerung ein.

Sie behalten die operativen Notwendigkeiten Ihres Verantwortungsbereichs stets im Auge.

Ihre Schwerpunkte im Detail:

• Gesamtverantwortung für Finanz- und Rechnungswesen (inkl. Sicherstellung ordnungsgemäßer Buchhaltung in Zusammenarbeit mit externer Steuerberatung)
• Weiterentwicklung der kaufmännischen Strukturen und Prozesse – mit Blick auf Transparenz, Effizienz und Skalierbarkeit
• Aufbau und Etablierung eines aussagekräftigen Controllings (inkl. Projektcontrolling)
• Erstellung von Wirtschafts-, Liquiditäts- und Investitionsplanungen
• Steuerung von Monats- und Jahresabschlüssen (HGB) in enger Abstimmung mit Steuerberatung und Wirtschaftsprüfung
• Kaufmännische Begleitung und Bewertung von Projekten
• Ansprechpartner für Banken, Steuerberater, Wirtschaftsprüfer sowie öffentliche Institutionen
• Unterstützung der Geschäftsführung bei strategischen und operativen Entscheidungen

Wichtig:

Sie übernehmen diese Rolle in einer schlanken Struktur mit hoher Eigenverantwortung („two-(wo)man-show“) und entwickeln diese eigenverantwortlich weiter.

Qualifikation

Für diese Aufgabe suchen wir bewusst keine klassische Buchhalterpersönlichkeit, sondern eine Person mit unternehmerischem Blick und Steuerungsanspruch, die gleichzeitig „hands-on“ arbeitet.

• Abgeschlossenes betriebswirtschaftliches Studium oder vergleichbare Qualifikation (z. B. Bilanzbuchhaltung mit entsprechender Weiterentwicklung)
• Mehrjährige Erfahrung im Finanz- und Rechnungswesen sowie idealerweise im Controlling
• Erfahrung in wachsenden Strukturen oder mittelständisch geprägten Organisationen von Vorteil
• Sicherheit in der Erstellung und Steuerung von Abschlüssen nach HGB
• Fähigkeit, Zahlen nicht nur zu erfassen, sondern zu interpretieren und als Steuerungsinstrument zu nutzen
• Strukturierte, eigenständige Arbeitsweise sowie Freude an Aufbau- und Gestaltungsmöglichkeiten
• Kommunikationsstärke und Fähigkeit, auch nicht-kaufmännische Stakeholder mitzunehmen
• Hohe IT-Affinität (z. B. DATEV, MS Office, idealerweise erste Erfahrung mit digitalen Controlling-Tools)
