About This Role

BASIC REQUIREMETNS: Successful completion of a 4-year course of study in human services or related field leading to a bachelorΒΏs degree from an accredited college or university and four years of experience in human services, social sciences, or related field with two years of specialized experience in case management. OR a MasterΒΏs degree in human services or related field from an accredited college or university and two years of experience in human services, social sciences, or related field with two years of specialized experience in case manager. Must have two years of post-college work related experience specific to domestic violence and child abuse. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge of the types of military, community, state and government organizations that provide service programs, which includes familiarity of local, state and federal regulations as they pertain clinical services. Knowledge of the most recent and current theories of domestic violence and child abuse. Knowledge in social work services, family and group counseling, especially as they pertain to dysfunctional and/or abusive family dynamics. Knowledge and understanding of aspects of military life. Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing. Knowledge of the military application of orders, instructions, and standard operating procedures is desirable. A valid SOFA driverΒΏs license is required This position is designated as a Position of Trust, and the incumbent must be eligible for a background check.
