Als Controlling Business Partner bei PassportCard bist du ein zentraler Sparringspartner für unsere Fachbereiche und unterstützt aktiv die Steuerung unseres internationalen Versicherungsportfolios. In einem datengetriebenen Umfeld sorgst du für Transparenz, identifizierst Wachstumspotenziale und trägst maßgeblich zur Profitabilität und strategischen Weiterentwicklung unseres Geschäfts bei.

Aufgaben

• Finanzplanung & Steuerung im Versicherungsumfeld:
  Erstellung und Weiterentwicklung von Budgets, Forecasts und Mehrjahresplanungen unter Berücksichtigung versicherungsspezifischer Kennzahlen (z. B. Loss Ratio, Combined Ratio, Customer Lifetime Value).
• Performance Management & Business Steering:
  Analyse der finanziellen und operativen Performance von Produkten, Märkten und Vertriebskanälen; Ableitung konkreter Maßnahmen zur Ergebnisverbesserung und Wachstumssteuerung.
• Reporting & Datenvisualisierung:
  Entwicklung und Pflege von Management-Reports und interaktiven Dashboards (z. B. Power BI) mit Fokus auf Versicherungskennzahlen, Portfolioentwicklung und Profitabilität.
• Strategisches Business Partnering:
  Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Underwriting, Vertrieb, Operations und Produktmanagement; kritisches Sparring bei Business Cases, Pricing-Ansätzen und strategischen Initiativen.
• Business Cases & Profitabilitätsanalysen:
  Bewertung neuer Produkte, Märkte und Initiativen sowie Durchführung von Szenario- und Sensitivitätsanalysen zur Unterstützung von Investitionsentscheidungen.
• Prozess- und Systemoptimierung:
  Weiterentwicklung und Automatisierung von Controlling-Prozessen sowie Verbesserung der Datenintegration aus versicherungsspezifischen Systemen.
• End-to-End Begleitung von Initiativen:
  Finanzielle Begleitung von Projekten (z. B. Produkteinführungen, Markteintritte, Digitalisierungsinitiativen) von der Planung bis zur Umsetzung.
• Datenqualität & Governance:
  Sicherstellung der Datenkonsistenz und -qualität insbesondere im Zusammenspiel von Finance-, Versicherungs- und operativen Systemen.

Qualifikation

• Stark ausgeprägte analytische Fähigkeiten mit hoher Affinität zu datengetriebenen Geschäftsmodellen
• Verständnis für wirtschaftliche Zusammenhänge im Versicherungs- oder Finanzdienstleistungsumfeld
• Fähigkeit, komplexe Sachverhalte verständlich und zielgruppengerecht aufzubereiten
• Ausgeprägte Kommunikations- und Stakeholder-Management-Skills
• Proaktive, lösungsorientierte und unternehmerische Denkweise
• Fähigkeit, als Sparringspartner auf Augenhöhe mit Fachbereichen zu agieren
• Abgeschlossenes Studium der Betriebswirtschaftslehre, Finanzen, Wirtschaftsmathematik oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation
• Mehrjährige Erfahrung im Controlling, FP&A oder in der Finanzanalyse – idealerweise im Versicherungs-, InsurTech- oder Finanzdienstleistungsumfeld
• Fundierte Kenntnisse in Planung, Forecasting und Reporting
• Erfahrung mit versicherungsspezifischen KPIs (z. B. Schadenquote, Combined Ratio, Retention, CAC/LTV) von Vorteil
• Erfahrung in der Erstellung und Bewertung von Business Cases
• Sicherer Umgang mit KI-gestützten Tools zur Datenanalyse, Automatisierung und Effizienzsteigerung im Controlling (z. B. für Forecasting, Reporting oder Datenaufbereitung)
• Sehr gute Excel-Kenntnisse
• Erfahrung mit BI-Tools (insbesondere Power BI)
• Erfahrung mit ERP- und/oder Versicherungs-Systemen von Vorteil
• Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
• Unternehmerisch denkende Persönlichkeit mit hoher Eigenverantwortung, Hands-on-Mentalität und Freude an einem dynamischen, internationalen Umfeld
