About This Role

To qualify for Assistant Area Director your resume and supporting documentation must support: A. Creditable specialized experience includes: GS-14 Managing mission activities and multi-appropriation financial programs within DoW planning and funding frameworks. Experience leading major commissary operational programs including logistics, acquisition, systems, and facility planning. Experience conducting long-range studies, performance reviews, and risk analyses to improve organizational effectiveness. Coordinating crisis-response actions, executing confidential inquiries, and acting for the Area Director during absences. - Time-in-grade applies to the promotion of current and former federal employees who hold or have held a permanent GS position in either the competitive or excepted service in the previous 52 weeks, including current employees applying under VEOA.
